Meet Vice-President Rachel Green, left, Treasurer Yharnet Browne and President Darien Parker who joined host Breann Schossow on Blugold Performance of the Air.
The trio brought a wave of excitement and positivity with them into the WUEC-FM studio while chatting about favorite memories and how their involvement in it offers them stress relief and an on-campus family. The choir is directed by music director and student, Emily Klink.
Unfortunately, technical difficulties interfered with the first interview, so Rachel and Yharnet joined Schossow in studio on Sunday, April 22.
Make sure to tune in to 89.7 Eau Claire Sunday to listen. Also, here’s a link to a song by one of the music directors the group mentions during the interview, Kirk Franklin.
Also, check out the group’s website here.

  8. Show Change

    Hello, all!

On Blugold Performance of the Air today, we’ll be switching the show up a bit. I was scheduled to interview Tyler Edmondson, of The Backwards Thinkers Society at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

Unfortunately, Edmondson had to give a presentation during our interview, so he’ll be invited back to the show in a few weeks.

This week, we’ll be listening to the UW-Eau Claire Symphonic Choir andf Symphony Orchestra’s perfromance of The Creation, composed by Franz Joseph Hadyn.

    I hope you enjoy it!
