On Tuesday, November 8, from 3-5 pm there is an Adult Dulcimer Jam. Dulcimer players of all levels are welcome to attend a weekly jam at the Folk Art Emporium. It is a free event but donations are welcome.
On Wednesday November 9, at 7:30 the Chippewa Valley Concert band will present its fall concert, Veteran’s Day at the Movies! Movie music will be highlighted and a special Veteran’s Day tribute will also be featured. The cost is $5 adults, $3 seniors/students, Free for veterans. Also on Wednesday Jazz at Night starts at 8 pm. It’s free at the Cabin in Eau Claire.
On Thursday November 10, at 7 pm Corey Koehler is playing at the Acoustic Café in Eau Claire. His music crosses genres and truly connects with his audience. All ages are welcome and it’s a free event. At 8:30 pm on Thursday Ross William Perry is playing at the House of Rock. Ross is a driven and focused musician whose style is rooted in tradition and spreads further than expectations. This event is $3 and is for people 21 and over.
On Friday November 11 The Singing Statesmen will be singing at Gantner Concert Hall in Haas Fine Arts Center. The group is an all-male choral ensemble from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. The cost is $6 for adults, $4 for seniors/youth, $4 for faculty/staff, and $1.50 for students.
On Saturday November 12, at the Acoustic Café the event for the evening is After Dark Barbershop Quartet. They have been performing for seven years together and their music is from the 50’s, 60’s, as well as being gospel, patriotic, and of course the barbershop standards.
On Sunday November 13, The Women’s Concert Chorale is performing. The group specializes in the study and performance of music written specifically for treble ensembles. This event will be in Gantner Concert Hall in the Haas Fine Arts Center in Eau Claire. The cost for this event is $6 for adults, $4 for seniors/youth, $4 for faculty/staff, and $1.50 for students.
